Midnight Grit

Here are some images from a night shoot on film with my fellow creative friend, Kyle Kaminsky.

Kyle is an actor and stars in the film Candyman, directed by Nia DaCosta, which is expected to release in August 2021.

I shot these on Cinestill 800, 35mm and 120 formats.

35mm was shot on my Canon AE1 with a 50mm lens. 120 was shot on my Pentax 6x7 with a 105mm lens.

All images were shot using the surrounding light in downtown LA and east Hollywood. I scan the images myself and do a light touch up in Adobe Photoshop.
